Andrew Bannecker created a series of cheery posters for Coca-Cola, a partner of Hopenhagen, that are blanketed all over Copenhagen as the COP 15 conference goes on.

why buy when you can borrow?

: : I know this lady, .Keara., who lives in Cincinnati. She had a great idea and is making it happen. When she moved to Cincinnati from Manhattan, she bought a house, and there were a lot of things she needed; power tools, lawnmower, wheel barrel etc. She thought 'There has to be someone in my neighborhood who has what I need, wouldn't it be great if I could borrow from my neighbors instead of having to buy items I may only use a few times.

So she started .share some sugar. It's a site where neighbors can borrow from each other, sign up and begin searching for items in your neighborhood, or post items that you would like to lend. .Keara. launched the site in Cincinnati, so the majority of items currently offered are available in Cincinnati. We need more Bostonians to sign up! So go do it, and tell your friends and neighbors about it! This is a great idea! Congrats .Keara. !

Decorating living / family rooms. The living room is the first place guest’s initially see and form a lasting impression about the home and/or occupants. Impressive living room should be well festooned and giving an inviting aura. It should create a homey and comfortable image. Create space and depth for living room by positioning a mirror on a wall. Choose lighter and neutral colors for it should be used as any other room in the house.

Decorating Dining rooms.
Today’s dining room is often much more than that place traditionally known for meals and entertaining guest(s) hence Elegance is important for formal dining, but a casual air is inviting. Ensure that you have the right rugs and plants to match the mood. Use more colorful table cloth as table clothing, try area rugs, greenery baskets or trees in the dining room to soften and warm the room.

Decorating Kitchens.
Kitchen is one of the most significant rooms in house/household. To add depth to the room, mix and match finishes and different textures in counter tops. Consider having glass cabinets to show off your best china while the wooden panels hide the rest. It’s also of paramount importance to allow flooring material be consistent with the rest of the house.

Decorating Bedrooms.
A bedroom is a place to relax and recharge. It’s a sanctuary for resting. Make it pop up with color, decor and fabric. Basically decorate a bedroom with something you love. Whether neutral, soft pastels, calming blues or restful greens, should reflect the things that make you happy.

Decorating Bathrooms.
Transforming your personal sprees into a spa like retreat is worth some attention. They are the easiest and least expensive to decorate in a home, although that unique room is mostly neglected. Consider a collection of small mirrors in decorating frames to add glamour to your bathroom. Choose colors that soothe your mood.

Decorating Kid’s spaces.
Kids little space. Kids need a little space to playfully enjoy themselves, to dress up, to think, to grow. Help your child make their room attractive. Consider a fun theme and color to inspire kids. Don’t forget window treatment and other kids’ luxuries and they will live to love their rooms.

: : my Swedish friends .hans & tina. were just here visiting. they stopped by new york city as well and found the .highline., a section of old railroad tracks raised above street level that have been turned into a park and opened in June 2009. what a cool idea! I'll have to give it a try next time I'm in NYC.
