House Detective Is on the Case with Home Inspections and Appraisals

In effort to cope with the unstable real estate market, entrepreneur Dan Wos is taking a new tack in his established home inspection and appraisal business.

Dan Wos, a former contractor and lifetime musician, opened House Detective in 2003.  House Detective  is a full service inspection and apprasail company in New York, North Carolina, Arizona, and Florida.

"I got tired of hearing the same old this market's in a slump story," said Wos.  "It was time to do something different, to think outside the box."

Just recently, Wos has invested in two new products; a prelisting inspection which occurs when a home is listed and video inspections which includes 20-40 minute DVD version of the inspection.

Prelisting Inspection

A prelisting inspection gains a more significant interest from potential buyers, causing the home to sell quicker.  By having a prelisting inspection there will be no surprises to the buyer.  They will know exactly what issues if any because you are fully disclosing everything upfront.

Video Inspections

Below is an example of a the video inspection.  It is perfect for the "out of towners" or investors.  The video inspection is a unique solution for people that can not attend the inspection.
